St. Brendan’s shroud exhibit offers story of hope

An exhibit examining the Shroud of Turin is expanding its collection, giving visitors another perspective on the mystery surrounding the burial cloth. A bronze sculpture of Jesus as he was laid in the tomb helps visitors imagine the man wrapped in the shroud.

Twin babies find home through ‘outpouring of love’

Published January 5, 2022Jacob and Zoey Stone, fraternal twins born on Aug. 10, were adopted by Dr. James and Alison Stone. The first-time parents, adopted the babies in early December. With the help of Respect Life Ministry, the twins were saved from abortion.

Pinecrest Academy hosts first home wrestling match of 2020

Published January 23, 2020Pinecrest Academy held a three-way wrestling match Jan. 15 between its team, Riverside Military Academy of Gainesville and Salem High School of Conyers in the upper school gymnasium. With only eight wrestlers available, the undermanned and sometimes undersized Pinecrest team still managed to finish in second place.
