A Pinecrest Academy senior, Michael Bruckner, received notification from Jay Gogue, president of Auburn University, Auburn, Ala., in December 2013, awarding him the Academic Presidential Scholarship, one of Auburn University’s highest academic awards. St. Brendan the Navigator’s Christmas Market was huge for 280 families who attended. Approximately 100 volunteers from the parish served the families for three hours.
