The community at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in July celebrated the installation of its new pastor, Father Dan Ketter.

  Father Francis (Frank) J. Kissel, a priest of the Society of Mary, died on September 17. He was 83 years old. Over several decades, he shared his talents in many areas of life at Marist School.

• Monsignor James Fennessy, retired pastor of St. Jude the Apostle, remembered

  Msgr. James Joseph “Jim” Fennessy, the retired pastor of St. Jude the Apostle Church, died Sept. 15. He was 82 years old and a priest for 57 years.

• Retired Oklahoma City Archbishop, ordained a priest in Atlanta, dies at 91

  Archbishop Eusebius Beltran, archbishop emeritus of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, died on Sept. 12 at 91. Archbishop Beltran was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Savannah-Atlanta in 1960.
