  Three Kenyan sisters have joined the nursing staff at the Roswell retirement community owned by the Archdiocese of Atlanta, and one will soon begin work at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital. Their ministry is to provide care and companionship to the sick.

• Deacon Alexander Gallagher remembered

  Deacon Alexander Stephen “Al” Gallagher, of Roswell, died on Oct. 4. He was 83 years old.

• Longtime St. Thomas Aquinas deacon remembered

  Deacon Edmund Joseph LaHouse died June 21. He was a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Alpharetta, where he served since 1989 as a deacon. He was 92 years old.
