Holy Redeemer’s Flores honored for tireless work ethic, unwavering love 

Holy Redeemer School’s honoree of the year is Alma Flores, a facilities staff member there for nearly two decades. Principal Jill Rice called Flores’ dedication “a living testament to the values we cherish.”

  Six men from the Archdiocese of Atlanta were ordained to the permanent diaconate Feb. 7 at Holy Vietnamese Martyrs Church. The newly ordained will serve in parishes and bring diverse backgrounds, families and ministerial experience to their new roles.

  Two Atlanta Catholics have newly-published books—a 40-day Lenten guide and a spiritual memoir that weaves in the writings of St. Louis de Montfort. Both serve to bring readers closer to Jesus.

  The Aquinas Center of Theology at Emory University named Alice Cameron as its executive director. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
