It’s back-to-school time for Catholic school students

Published August 8, 2019The Georgia Bulletin was present for the first day of school, Aug. 5, at St. John Neumann Regional School in Lilburn, and stopped in at a teacher meet and greet the same day at Holy Redeemer. In archdiocesan and independent Catholic schools, enrollment for all schools this year is estimated to be around 11,300 students.

Catholic Foundation of North Georgia announces spring grant awards

The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia issued 62 grants totaling $160,700 for the spring 2019 competitive grant cycle. The grants support both the Catholic and greater community through a variety of causes within the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

D’Youville Academy holds reunion

In June, D’Youville Academy’s last graduating class—the class of 1969—came back to Atlanta to mark the passage of 50 years. Twenty-two of the 30 graduates attended the reunion.
