Kennedy. He wrote, “John F. Kennedy was a man, a husband, a father, a son, a brother. The entire human family mourns his death.”

The initiative, started in 2012, aims to celebrate generosity by spotlighting the work of nonprofits. #iGiveCatholic is part of the Giving Tuesday tradition. The day makes it easy to support one or more of the 96 Atlanta Catholic organizations participating.

Marist School’s first lay president centers year around students, teachers

Published November 16, 2023Masses, sporting events and enthusiastic assemblies have filled the calendar of J.D. Childs, the new president of Marist School. “Teachers and students are the most important folks at Marist School,” said Childs. “So my hope for my first year as president surrounds them.” He is the first lay president of Marist in the school’s 122-year history.
