The wall never had a chance.

With a blue X taped to it and with a barrage of sledgehammers, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory took their turns against the wall. See for yourself.

The unusual groundbreaking on Monday, Sept. 9, marked the beginning for renovations at 680 W. Peachtree Street, the home for the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School.

Look for more about what the school means for student aspiring for a rigorous college prep education, but unable to afford a Catholic school.
