STONE MOUNTAIN—A retreat for the Eucharistic Congress Healing Service prayer teams (English and Spanish) will be Saturday, April 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 600 Mountain Dr. in Stone Mountain.

These volunteer teams will pray during the Healing Service at the Eucharistic Congress. The service will begin at approximately 7:45 p.m., Friday, June 17 following the Congress’ opening Mass at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park.

Guest priest Father Minh Bui of Senegal, West Africa, will lead the April 30 retreat, which includes formation for the prayer team members. After the retreat, Father Bui will lead a healing service for Jesus’ Fire, a monthly Catholic Charismatic evening of renewal at Corpus Christi, concluding with a Mass at 5 p.m. The entire day of preparation for the Congress is free, and everyone is welcome to attend both events. Lunch will be provided to those who pre-register.

Father Bui founded a religious community in Senegal, the Little Brothers and Sisters of the Holy Spirit. The community’s apostolate is providing shelter, food and education for the poor. He travels internationally to lead parish missions, healing services and days of reflection.

To participate in the retreat, contact Marlene Lee-Seaton at atlcharismaticrenewal@gmail.com or call 678-464-9008. For information on the Eucharistic Congress, go to congress.archatl.com.
