High school runners on the Marist and St. Pius X cross country teams together raised money for Back on My Feet, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to creating independence and self-sufficiency with people who are homeless, by first engaging them in a running program.

More than 150 runners from the two Atlanta Catholic high schools participated in a 12-hour continuous relay race. They ran 1,345 miles.

More than $11,000 was raised for the organization that provides a community of equality, respect, discipline, teamwork and leadership. Participants in Back on My Feet have the opportunity to gain access to education, job training and employment opportunities.
