Marist’s Brady McCaffrey To Play In Ohio

Marist School graduate Brady McCaffrey has committed to play basketball at Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware, Ohio.

McCaffrey, a three-year varsity basketball player for Marist, served as team captain and was the recipient of the team’s Most Valuable Player Award for the 2006-2007 season under first year head coach Greg McClaire.

During McCaffrey’s junior year he started Players Curing Kids Cancer. Through the program Marist basketball players helped raise money to fund research to fight childhood cancer through Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Over the past two years all the Marist basketball teams combined collected over $10,000.

This summer McCaffrey is working as one of the directors for former Marist coach Ron Bell’s War Eagle basketball camp before heading off to college.
