Alliance Of Two Hearts Offers Day Of Recollection

Published May 10, 2007

The Alliance of the Two Hearts is sponsoring a Day of Recollection with Father Edgardo “Bing” Arellano on Sunday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Marriott-Windward Hotel.

The day will include rosaries, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, talks, confession, and Mass. Father Arellano, a canon lawyer and theologian, is the international spiritual director of the Alliance of the Holy Family International (AHFI), a movement working under the Pontifical Council for the Family in 104 countries to promote the holiness of family life through the Alliance of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. He works closely with the founding bishops of AHFI to provide the spiritual formation of all its missionaries, lay collaborators, and priests. Father Arellano appears regularly on the Eternal Word Television Network as host of the show “One in Their Hearts.” The Alliance of the Two Hearts espouses a way of life that is centered in the Eucharist and Marian in spirituality. Based on a belief that holiness begins in the home, families practice the communion of reparation with four elements as the foundation: rosary, reconciliation, Eucharist and holy hours of adoration. In Atlanta, the Alliance celebrates a First Friday, First Saturday vigil monthly in four churches. Those wishing to attend the day of reflection should register prior to the event by sending name, address, phone number, e-mail address and total number attending (including names and ages of children) to: Alliance of the Two Hearts, Attn: GA Recollection ’07, 1090 Riverside Road, Roswell, GA 30076-4000. Admission is free, but walk-in registrants at the event will be charged $25. The Atlanta Marriott-Windward is located at 5750 Windward Parkway, Alpharetta. For a special out-of-town rate for travelers, call (770) 754-9600.
