July 19 Mass, Dinner To Support Seminarians

Published July 6, 2006

The second annual Atlanta archdiocesan seminarian dinner will be held Wednesday, July 19, at St. Brigid Church.

All are invited to attend the dinner, which will follow a 6 p.m. Mass. After Mass, there will be a social hour at 7 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. in St. Brigid’s Corbett Hall. Dress is business casual.

The North Metro Serra Club and the St. Brigid Knights of Columbus have joined together to offer the evening of prayer and thanksgiving for the young men who are studying for the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

A donation of $30 per person is requested for the dinner. Tickets will be on sale after all Masses at St. Brigid’s, beginning July 8 and 9, and are also available through the St. Brigid Parish office by calling (678) 393-0060. All proceeds from the event will go to support the archdiocesan seminarian program, led by vocations director Father Brian Higgins.

Those who cannot attend the dinner are encouraged to buy tickets as a donation to the seminarian program. Those who wish to donate should write “donation” on the ticket and turn it in to St. Brigid’s office so organizers can keep an accurate listening of those who plan to attend.

St. Brigid’s is located at 3400 Old Alabama Road in Alpharetta.
