Southeast FIRE Rally Planned For March 2004

Published January 1, 2004

The second Southeast FIRE Rally will be held on Saturday, March 13, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 5,000-seat Charlotte Bobcats Training Center.

The center is located off of I-77, exit 88, five minutes south of Charlotte, N.C. Doors will open at 8 a.m.

The FIRE Rally is a one-day, Catholic, evangelistic event for all adults, composed of dynamic music and four inspiring, powerful talks by the nationally recognized four-member FIRE Team, including a closing liturgy with the local bishop. The teaching topics are taken from the four words for which FIRE is an acronym: Faith, Intercession, Repentance and Evangelism.

The original Southeast FIRE Rally, held Sept. 18, 1999, at Belmont Abbey College, in Belmont, N.C., was a tremendous success and was sold-out in advance with over 2,300 enthusiastic adults in attendance.
