JONESBORO—The sixth annual Nigerian Day Celebration at St. Philip Benizi Church, in Jonesboro, will be held on Sunday, Oct. 5. The church is located at 591 Flint River Road, Jonesboro.

Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory will celebrate Mass at 10:45 a.m.

A reception in the parish hall will be held immediately following Mass. The reception includes food, dance and entertainment, all representative of Nigerian lifestyles and culture.

Basil Odusanya, leader of the church’s Nigerian ministry, said the celebration is open to all.
