Two larger-than-life murals featuring the Blessed Virgin Mary now beautify the sanctuary of Mary Our Queen Church following a July installation. Bishop Konzen will bless the new sacred art murals on Aug. 23.

Lightning strike survivor thanks first responders, Catholic community

Published July 29, 2026First responders brought a St. Joseph Church parishioner Jeanne Menna back to life after a lightning strike in May. She returned to the scene of the strike weeks later to thank them and the Catholic community for prayers and support.

Published July 15, 2026After the pandemic, organizations aiding the homeless struggled with resources and funding and began to shut down, leaving a void in the Buckhead area. Nearby churches, including the Cathedral of Christ the King, recognized a growing need for support, and formed a relationship with Intown Cares.
