This three-night workshop is for Ignatian spiritual directors, therapists and pastoral care ministers who want to deepen skills in accompanying those who have experienced trauma, as well as the people who love them. The workshop is directed by Father Rob McChesney and grounded in his book, “The Soul Also Keeps the Score: A Trauma-Informed Companion to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.” It presumes some familiarity with Ignatian spirituality and spiritual direction. Because spaces are reserved for trained professionals, prospective participants complete a brief application form to help ensure the retreat community is well-supported; once the application is reviewed, applicants will receive a follow-up email with a registration link and next steps.
