Third Sunday of the month; St. Brigid Church, 3400 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek. St. Brigid Church will celebrate a sensory-friendly/adaptive Mass on the third Sunday of every month. A special invitation is extended to families who have a child with a disability, to those with dementia or Alzheimer’s and any individual who experiences sensory issues. These Masses will include: music at a lower volume, a “quiet” sensory room, an “active” sensory room, a shorter and more literal homily and pictorial resources to follow the order of the Mass. Families are encouraged to bring materials that can assist with comfort during the liturgy: noise canceling headphones, wiggle seats, fidgets, etc. Families are encouraged to come and participate in the liturgy just as they are. All are welcome.
