Festivals celebrate the season

ATLANTA—Fall festivals and craft bazaars encourage fellowship and fun throughout the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Parishes and schools host a variety of events during this season including bake sales, arts and craft shows and related events:

St. Anthony of Padua Church, Atlanta

This year’s Fall Harvest will include a Halloween Festival on Sunday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m. Costumes are optional, face masks are required. Will include food, face painting, music, dancing and more. Sponsored by the parish’s Junior Daughters of the Knights of Peter Claver. St. Anthony of Padua Church is located at 928 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW, Atlanta. St. Benedict Church, Johns Creek

The annual Holiday Bazaar will be at St. Benedict Church starting on Friday, Nov. 5, with a presale wine and cheese party from 5:30-9 p.m., and on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Women’s Guild at the Johns Creek parish. Blessed Trinity High School, Roswell

The ninth annual Titan Tidings Christmas Gift Show will be Sat, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. With more than 100 vendors, shop a large variety of unique and beautiful gifts including jewelry, pottery, fine art, knits, holiday and home decor and children items. Enter the Titan Tidings raffle to win prizes. Concessions will be available. Admission is $3. No strollers please. Blessed Trinity High School is located at 11320 Woodstock Road, Roswell. St. Brigid Church, Johns Creek

The Holly Days Market will be at Corbett Hall at St. Brigid Church on Thursday, Nov. 11, from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 12, 9:30 am – 1:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Women of St. Brigid, this free event will include unique gifts from various vendors, home and holiday decorations, original painted artwork, personalized and embroidered items, children’s items and accessories, clothing, handbags, religious art, jewelry and pottery. Bring a friend to Sip n’ Shop, which will be Thursday evening. Raffle tickets will be available at the door for great prizes. Proceeds will benefit local charities.
