Published March 9, 2021

ATLANTAThe Pregnancy Aid Clinic announced the appointment of Deacon Gary Schantz as chairman of the board of directors.

Deacon Gary Schantz

He joined the PAC board in 2017 and succeeds William Llop, who will remain on the board as a member.

Deacon Schantz has long supported the work of PAC. He is the CEO of Legacy Wealth Management Group, Inc. and serves as a permanent deacon at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Sandy Springs.

The deacon and his wife, Liz, have been married for 41 years and  have three children.

“I’m looking forward to continuing the work we have begun with the dedicated PAC board and staff as we bring our services and impact further into the community. God is with all of us, but he is very close to those in desperate need. Pope Francis reminds us ‘if we deprive the weakest among us of the right to life, how can we effectively guarantee respect for every other right?’”

The PAC board consists of Deacon Gary Schantz, chairman, Christine Trovato, vice chair; Tim Doyle, treasurer; Father Neil Dhabliwala; Mercedes Hernandez, Carrie Huebner, William Llop, Mark McMullen, Chuck Sliker, Warren Stoughton and Deacon Jim Wolf.

Pregnancy Aid Clinic is the only pregnancy resource center in the Archdiocese of Atlanta that offers a Catholic perspective to women and families experiencing unexpected pregnancy. It was established in 1984.
