Father Bryan Kuhr

Born: Dec. 15, 1980, in Dayton, Ohio.

Family: He is the son of Joe and Peggy Kuhr, of Alpharetta. His brother, Nicholas, lives in Atlanta and his sister, Jennifer, resides in Alpharetta.

Education: Graduated from the University of Georgia, Athens, with a bachelor’s in business administration, in finance, in 2003. Entered seminary in 2011 and studied philosophy for two years at University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary in Mundelein, Ill. Completed seminary with the study of theology at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy, from 2013 to 2017.

Work experience: Worked in corporate finance for the Ford Motor Co. in Detroit from 2004 to 2011.

Hobbies: Playing soccer, traveling and spending time outdoors.

First assignment: St. Benedict Church, Johns Creek.
