Knights serve breakfast for good cause at St. John Neumann

LILBURN—Ordering that extra serving of eggs and hash browns at the monthly family breakfast at St. John Neumann Church may not help the waistline, but it’s helping parish ministries.

The breakfast success recently resulted in a donation of $890 from the Knights of Columbus, sponsors of the breakfast, to the special needs ministry at the Lilburn parish.

On Aug. 27, Bruce Rago, Grand Knight of Council 7923 of the Knights of Columbus, presented a check to Father Sunny Punnakuziyil, MSFS, pastor, to help the ministry. The donation came from the net proceeds of the breakfast that the Knights of Columbus hosted in August.

On Sept. 18 the Knights presented the pastor with a check for $579, the net proceeds of the September breakfast, to support the parish Creation Care Team.
