Holy Spirit senior’s carpet design chosen by Mohawk

Published October 20, 2016

ATLANTA—Holy Spirit Prep School senior Andi Rozelle won a national design contest sponsored by the Mohawk Group, a flooring and textiles manufacturer.

Rozelle’s design was selected from submissions in a national high school competition to create the company’s next “scratch art” carpet, a sustainable carpet line made from recycled fibers. Her design will be manufactured into a carpet design and made available at Home Depot stores nationwide. Mohawk gave the school enough carpet to redo the school’s library in her design.

Her art teacher at the independent Catholic school is Rochelle Rondeau.
