ATLANTA—Artistry is in the Dockter family DNA.
Jefferson Dockter, a junior at Marist School, Atlanta, earned two gold key awards in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Georgia level competition, which qualified him for national recognition. His work was recognized with a silver medal for one of his two pieces. This award places him in the top 1 percent of more than 300,000 submissions to the national competition.
Jefferson’s sister, Sarah, who graduated in 2014, also earned a silver medal in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards national competition.
