Holy Trinity’s annual “Día de la Familia” health fair serves 600

PEACHTREE CITY—People waited for more than an hour on Saturday, March 12, for the start of the annual “Día de la Familia” (Family Day) health fair at Peachtree City’s Holy Trinity Church.

As the parish hosted the event for the 15th year, many doctors and medical clinics were represented. This year the National Kidney Foundation joined many participating medical providers who serve families without any or limited health insurance. Over 1,000 people attended and 600 received medical screenings.

There was lots of joy between the providers and the participants. The day began with a prayer invocation by Father Dairo Rico, thanking God for those coming for services and for those giving of themselves for the good of others.
