Bible study on Romans to begin in January

Published January 1, 2016

ATLANTA—Starting Jan. 21, Keri Allen will be presenting a study series on St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans, entitled “His Saving Grace!”

This life application Bible study will be held at Holy Spirit Church, in St. Mary’s Chapel, on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and will continue through March 17. Holy Spirit is located at 4465 Northside Drive, NW, Atlanta.

“This study will empower you to be your best self in Christ,” Allen said. “You will come away with a deeper understanding that salvation cannot be earned and is never deserved but is always available to everyone as a free gift from our loving God.”

She said that Paul describes how salvation is only possible through faith in Jesus and his redemptive work on the cross and is from God’s infinite love for us.

“Paul will encourage you to stand firm for your faith,” Allen said, “as you discover how to live according to the Spirit.”

Homework is optional. There is no cost for the Bible study, but a free will offering will be accepted.
