Holy Spirit makes GISA playoffs after six-year hiatus

ATLANTA—Holy Spirit Prep School football team (5-6) played its first Georgia Independent School Association playoff game under head coach David Rosenzweig against Deerfield Windsor School (9-2) of Albany. They came up on the losing end of the Nov. 6 game by a score of 42-19. The teams compete in the AAA Class.
This was the first time the Holy Spirit Prep football team entered the GISA playoffs since the 2009 season.
In other football news, senior running back and safety Ryan Durham closed out the regular football season tied for second in the nation for number of interceptions, with 11.
