New priest assignments 2015

ATLANTA—Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory has announced the following changes in priest assignments. They are effective July 1, 2015, unless otherwise noted.
First pastor assignment
Father Ignacio Morales, who has been serving as a parochial vicar at Good Shepherd Church, Cumming, has been assigned as pastor of St. John Vianney Church, Lithia Springs. This is his first pastorate. The archdiocese has assumed pastoral care of the parish, which had been under the care of the Conventual Franciscan order.
Pastor
Father Gregory D. Goolsby has been assigned as pastor of St. Pius X Church, Conyers.
Administrators
Father Randall T. Mattox has been assigned as administrator of St. James Mission, Madison.
Father Carlos Quintero has been assigned as the full-time administrator of Divino Niño Jesus Mission, Duluth.
Parochical vicars
Father Michael C. Revak has been assigned as parochial vicar at St. Brigid Church, Johns Creek, effective June 1.
Father Brian Baker, who has been studying in Rome, Italy, has been assigned as a parochial vicar at Holy Spirit Church, Atlanta. He will receive a licentiate in sacred theology with a concentration in dogmatic theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University this year.
Father Matthew C. Dalrymple, who has been studying in Rome, Italy, has been assigned as a parochial vicar at St. Benedict Church, Johns Creek. He will receive a licentiate in sacred theology with a concentration in sacraments from the Pontifical Atheneum Sant’ Anselmo.
Father Tan Pham, who has been serving as a parochial vicar at Transfiguration Church, Marietta, has been assigned as a parochial vicar at St. Michael Church, Gainesville.
Father Jose Kochuparampil has been assigned as parochial vicar at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Atlanta.
Campus minister
Archbishop Gregory has confirmed the recommendation of Very Reverend Thomas J. Ascherman, SVD, provincial superior of the Chicago Province of the Society of the Divine Word, and has assigned Father Urey P. Mark, SVD, as campus minister at the Atlanta University Center—Lyke House, Atlanta.
Metropolitan Tribunal
Father Daniel P. Ketter, who has been studying at The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., has been assigned as Defender of the Bond in the Metropolitan Tribunal. He has been appointed a parochial vicar at Holy Family Church, Marietta, for canonical purposes, and will also reside there. This assignment is effective June 1.
Priest formation
Msgr. James A. Schillinger has been assigned as full-time coordinator for the archdiocesan Ongoing Formation of Priests, with special emphasis on those ordained within the last five years. He has been appointed parochial vicar at Prince of Peace Church, Flowery Branch, for canonical purposes, and will also reside there.
Personal leave
Father José Duvan Gonzalez, serving as a parochial vicar at St. Joseph Church, Dalton, has been granted a leave of absence to assist his family, beginning July 1 and concluding Dec. 31, 2015.
