‘Life Sentence’ production to benefit Innocence Project
Published May 14, 2015
ATLANTA—The social justice ministry of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church will present “Life Sentence” on Tuesday, June 9, at 7 p.m. The musical project is inspired by a wrongful prison conviction.
The production presents the story of Clarence Harrison, who served 18 years in prison before DNA evidence proved he was innocent of the crime. The Georgia Innocence Project helped exonerate Harrison.
The church is located at 2855 Briarcliff Road in Atlanta.
The suggested donation for “Life Sentence” is $15 per person. All proceeds will go to the Georgia Innocence Project.
