ROSWELL—The Blessed Trinity High School competition cheerleading team won the Class AAA regional championship at Kennesaw Mountain High School Nov. 8.

The team started out strongly this season, but injuries caught up with them and they didn’t fare as well in state competition.

“I am proud of the girls because we overcame many obstacles during the season,” said first-year coach Vanessa Necolettos.

The coach said she plans to enhance the team’s determination to win and reach new levels of success in future seasons.
