3 Saint Andrew rowers earn scholarships

ROSWELL—Three team members of Roswell’s Saint Andrew Rowing Club signed National Letters of Intent (a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an NLI member institution) on Nov. 13. Erin Hayes, a senior at Blessed Trinity High School, Roswell, signed to be a coxswain for the University of Alabama women’s rowing team; Sarah Podwojski, a senior at Roswell High School, signed to row for the University of Louisville women’s rowing team; and Devon Erickson, a senior at Marist School, Atlanta, signed to row for the University of Texas at Austin women’s rowing team.
