Published September 12, 2013

BLAIRSVILLE—A First Friday/First Saturday Communion of Reparation all night vigil will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Blairsville on Oct. 4, celebrated by Father Edgardo “Bing” Arellano, spiritual director of the Alliance of the Holy Family, International.

Rosaries will begin at 8 p.m. The First Friday vigil Mass for the Sacred Heart will be celebrated at 9 p.m., and the First Saturday vigil Mass for the Immaculate Heart will be at 1 a.m.

Father Arellano will also provide a group home enthronement to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary for families who have not had their homes enthroned. The enthronement of the home in today’s world is what the painting of the lamb’s blood on the doorposts was for the Jewish people in Egypt at the Passover.

Seven other October vigils will take place in the Atlanta area: St. Andrew Church in Roswell, Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church in Conyers, Christ Our Hope Church in Lithonia, St. Marguerite d’Youville Church in Lawrenceville, Our Lady of the Americas Mission in Lilburn, St. John the Evangelist Church in Hapeville, and the Georgia Tech Catholic Center in Atlanta.
