Catholic African communities to host fall events

ATLANTA–Members of the Catholic African community will have several events this autumn season:

The Corpus Christi Catholic Association of African Families (CCCAAF) will hold its annual celebration Mass and Harvest Bazaar on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Corpus Christi Church, 600 Mountain View, Stone Mountain. Members of CCCAAF are focused on contributing positively to the immediate community, helping others grow both physically and spiritually, and seeking to explore their Catholic faith. The celebration will begin with Mass at 10 a.m. in the gym and the bazaar will follow.

The Pan African Catholic Organization of Atlanta (PACOA) will celebrate its third annual Mass and social on Saturday, Oct. 5, All are warmly invited to attend. The celebration begins with Mass at 7 p.m. at Corpus Christi Church, Stone Mountain. Following Mass will be a social featuring a variety of African dishes.

The members of the Nigerian Igbo Catholic Community of Atlanta cordially invite all to join the fifth annual Thanksgiving Mass and Bazaar on Sunday, Oct. 13. The celebration begins with noon Mass at Christ Our Hope Church, 1786 Wellborn Rd., Lithonia, followed by the culturally unique bazaar.
