ATLANTA—In the Year of Faith, the Cuban-American community of Atlanta is inviting people of faith to the celebration of the feast of Our Blessed Mother Mary Virgin of Charity, patroness of Cuba.
A Solemn Mass in honor of the Virgin of Charity will be celebrated at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Saturday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. The main celebrant will be Auxiliary Bishop Luis R. Zarama, along with the priests of the Atlanta Archdiocese.
The celebration is to begin with a procession at 6:30 p.m. from the Christ the King School recreation field. There will be a reception after the Mass.
