From the Diocese of Savannah, Sanford Hillsman, of Albany, is the new state deputy of the Georgia State Council of the Knights of Columbus and will operate as the chief executive for the organization in the state. Hillsman, who had been serving as state secretary, is president of The 100 Black Men of America Chapter in Albany and a member of the organization’s international board of directors.
