French-English Day Of Renewal Set

The Archdiocese of Atlanta Office for Black Catholic Ministry is sponsoring a Lenten Day of Renewal in English and French on Saturday, March 24.

The theme is “Living the Abundant Life Here Below” (“Vivre la Vie Abondante Ici Bas”).

The event, which is being organized by the Pan African Catholic Organization of Atlanta, will be held at Christ Our Hope Church, 1786 Wellborn Road, Lithonia. The day of renewal will begin at 9 a.m. and is scheduled to end at

4 p.m. There will be three talks during the day, two in English and one in French. Father Benedict Ehinack, a Cameroon native who was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit in 2010, will serve as a guest presenter. Snacks will be provided, but attendees must provide their own lunch.
