Dogs Make Good Listeners

Published March 28, 2013

Students at Holy Redeemer School, Johns Creek, on Thursday, March 7, were greeted by dogs from Therapy Dogs International. Five dogs were brought in as a treat to support the young students as they practiced their reading skills.

The students learned about the dogs and also read to them, an interaction that has been shown to build the confidence and skills of those learning to read.
