Atlanta Social Justice Leader Sits On National Board

Kat Doyle, director of justice and peace ministries for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, was recently appointed to the board of the Roundtable Association of Catholic Diocesan Social Action Directors during its annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
The Roundtable is the national professional association for those staff who advise Catholic bishops on matters of justice and peace. The association is committed to deepening the capacity of social action directors to engage in the social mission of the church.
While in Washington, Doyle also participated in the Catholic Social Ministry Gathering as a panelist presenting on “The Year of Faith and Social Mission,” where she highlighted the Archdiocese of Atlanta’s recent Justice & Peace Exposition and new Social Justice Leadership Certification Program.
