Emory To Sponsor Special Showing Of ‘Restless Heart’

Published January 3, 2013

The Aquinas Center and the Catholic Student Union at Emory University will sponsor a special showing of the new movie, “Restless Heart,” on Thursday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m. The movie will be shown in White Hall, room 208, at Emory.

“The Restless Heart” explores the dramatic life of St. Augustine, one of the pillars of Christian theology and philosophy. Augustine, a brilliant student and speaker, lived in the chaos of the latter years of the Roman Empire.

Following the movie, two of Emory’s Catholic scholars, Cory Labrecque, Ph.D., and Marie Marquardt, Ph.D., will discuss the movie and the life of St. Augustine, along with questions and comments from the audience.

The screening is free to students; for others a donation is requested. Limited seating is available.

Email baoster@emory.edu for tickets. For more information about the movie, go to www.restlessheartfilm.com.
