Atlanta’s Holy Spirit Preparatory School and Pinecrest Academy, Cumming, were named two of the Top 50 Catholic High Schools. Both schools have received the honor consecutively.

The Cardinal Newman Society hosts the rankings promoting schools that excel in three categories: academic excellence, Catholic identity and civic education.

Holy Spirit Upper School Principal Tommy Curtin said in a news release, “Holy Spirit Prep is honored to receive Top 50 recognition from such a respected organization as the Cardinal Newman Society. This recognition is a testament to the hard work of everyone associated with our school, particularly our devout and dedicated faculty.”

Pinecrest High School Principal Ed Lindekugel said, “It is a validation of the efforts of so many in our community to provide an environment consistent with the longstanding tradition of excellence in Catholic education.”
