On Friday, Sept. 7, Holy Redeemer School, Johns Creek, celebrated its 13th birthday. Eighth- grade students assisted at a special Mass.
All students were invited to bring a food item for the food pantry at St. Brigid Church, adjacent to the school. And each Saint Family made birthday cards, which were hung outside of the school. The Saint Families are comprised of students from each grade level and one teacher mentor. The families work on activities during the school year.
The technology revolution is making its way into the classroom. Students are using smartphones and tablet computers with educational apps.
