Published September 15, 2011

The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia (CFNGA) recently announced that applications for the fall cycle of the general grants program and the parish enrichment grants program will be accepted through Sept. 30.

The mission of the Catholic Foundation is to enhance the long-term financial stability of the Catholic community in North Georgia by diligently building, effectively managing and carefully granting philanthropic assets.

General grants are restricted to entities in the geographic area of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, including nonprofit organizations, parishes, Catholic schools, and ministries. CFNGA focuses its support on issues vital to the Catholic community including children/youth services, community development, education/literacy, health/sciences, human services and religion.

Parish enrichment grants are only open to the parishes and missions of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Applications and guidelines are available on the foundation’s website at www.cfnga.org, or by contacting Aubrey Whittier at (404) 497-9440 or grants@cfnga.org.
