New Divorced, Separated Group To Start May 2

Published April 14, 2011

Finances, work, health, family and other outside forces or addictions can strain or end a marriage. At this lonely and hurt-filled time of separation or recent divorce, the healing process can be improved by meeting with other men and women facing similar challenges in their relationships and lives. St. Ann Church extends an opportunity for this healing to begin through a new Divorced and Separated Support Group that will meet semimonthly.

The St. Ann Divorced and Separated Support Group offers a safe, confidential, Christian group setting. Participants do not need to be a Catholic—the support group is open to all people in need. The meetings will have a no-pressure setting.

The first meeting will be held Monday, May 2, from 7:30 p.m. to

9 p.m. at St. Ann’s, 4905 Roswell Road, Marietta. It will be held in the private cry room at the back of the church. Please try to come slightly early so that the meeting can start on time. There is no cost to attend, and everyone will receive a book on working through divorce.

The support group will meet the first and third Mondays of every month at St. Ann at 7:30 p.m.
