St. Anthony’s To Host Parish Healing Mission

St. Anthony Church will host a parish healing mission on Jan. 30 to Feb. 2. All are welcome to attend.

Leading the mission will be Augustinian Father Albert MacPherson, who has been ministering for over 25 years in the U.S., Canada, South America, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean Islands. He will preach at the weekend Masses, beginning on Saturday, Jan. 29, at 4 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m.

The mission opens on Sunday at 1 p.m. with a focus on prayer and supplication. On Monday, Jan. 31, Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m., followed by the sacrament of reconciliation. On Tuesday, Feb. 1, and Wednesday, Feb. 2, Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m., followed by prayer for healing.

Born in Nova Scotia, Father MacPherson was ordained to the priesthood in 1974, and he completed graduate theological studies at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Association of Christian Therapists.
