Priest Assignment

Wilton D. Gregory has announced the following changes in priest assignments.

Archbishop Gregory has confirmed the recommendation of Father John L. Connor, territorial director of the Legionaries of Christ, and has assigned Father Martin Connor, LC, to serve in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, effective Nov. 2. Father Connor will offer retreats, celebrate Mass, hear confessions and give spiritual direction. For canonical status, Father Connor has been assigned as parochial vicar at All Saints Church, Dunwoody.

Archbishop Gregory has confirmed the recommendation of Father Matthew Didoné, provincial superior of the Missionaries of St. Charles – Scalabrinians, and has assigned Father Rubens Sylvain, CS, as parochial vicar at San Felipe de Jesus Mission, Forest Park, effective Nov. 3.

Father Paul W. Berny will resign as pastor of Prince of Peace Church, Flowery Branch, effective Nov. 21.

Father Eric Hill has been assigned as pastor of Prince of Peace Church, effective Nov. 22. Father Hill has been serving as pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Decatur.
