Catholic-Orthodox Ecumenical Service Will Be Celebrated Nov. 4 At IHM

A Catholic-Orthodox ecumenical gathering will take place on Thursday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. The theme of the Gathering is “Celebrating the Saints: Our Intercessors in Heaven and Our Inspiration on Earth.” All are invited to attend.

Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory and Archbishop Alexios, the Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Atlanta, will both preside and preach at the event.  The service will include music from the chanters of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the traditional choir of Holy Spirit Church and the choir of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

Following the service, there will be a reception in the parish hall.
