In Softball, Mercy Loses, BT Readies For Region

Landmark Christian High School shut out Our Lady of Mercy High School in softball 15-0 on Sept. 21. Mercy’s last victory was back on Sept. 2, but the team hopes to end the month and the final game of the season on a positive note.

In Roswell, Blessed Trinity High School ended its regular season with a 15-0 victory over South Atlanta High School, Sept. 22. In the Sept. 21 game against Woodstock High School, Blessed Trinity sophomore Mary Bryce Pring pitched a shutout in the team’s 8-0 victory. Senior shortstop Moira Sullivan is currently batting .528 with 19 stolen bases. Junior Aileen Pollitzer is also swinging a big bat with her .459 average. Blessed Trinity (17-9) faces Greater Atlanta Christian School in the opening game of the region tournament, Thursday, Sept. 30.
