Priest Assignments

Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory has announced the following changes in priest assignment.

Archbishop Gregory has confirmed the recommendation of Father Mathew Kozhuppakalam, provincial of the South West Province of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales, India, and has confirmed Father Sunny Joseph Punnakuziyil, MSFS, as chaplain of the Monastery of the Visitation, Snellville, effective Aug. 30. Father Punnakuziyil will reside at St. Matthew Church, Winder.

Archbishop Gregory has confirmed the recommendation of Father John Won-sik Sin, provincial of the Korea Province of the Society of Jesus, and has assigned Father Stefano Young-hoon Kim, SJ, as parochial vicar at Korean Martyrs Church, Doraville, effective Sept. 1.

Father Thomas J. Hennessy has been assigned as full-time chaplain at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cancer Home, Atlanta, where he will reside, effective Sept. 8.

Father Kevin J. Hargaden, pastor of St. Peter Church, LaGrange, has also been assigned to serve as Vicar for Clergy for a three-year term beginning Sept. 10.
