Annual Jubilee Mass To Be Celebrated

The priests working in the Atlanta Archdiocese celebrating 25 and 50 years of service to the church will be honored at a special Mass. On Wednesday, May 26, at 10:30 a.m., seven priests will be recognized at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Atlanta. Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory will celebrate the Mass.

The priests with 50 years of service are: Father Edward O’Connor, retired; Franciscan Father David Hyman, associate chaplain, Catholic Center – University of Georgia, Athens; and Jesuit Father Albert Louapre, at the Jesuit Retreat Center at Ignatius House, Atlanta.

The priests with 25 years of service are: Marist Father Timothy Keating, provincial, Marist Fathers and Brothers; Father Peter Rau, pastor of St. Peter Chanel, Roswell; Franciscan Father Thomas Vigliotta, director, Catholic Center at the University of Georgia, Athens; and Father Patrick Donaghey, pastor of St. Stephen the Martyr, Lilburn;

All are welcome to attend. The Cathedral of Christ the King is located at 2699 Peachtree Road.
