Catholic Charities To Host Regional Seminars in March

Catholic Charities Atlanta is offering free seminars in Gwinnett and Clayton counties in March.

In Gwinnett County, parenting seminars will be offered at Our Lady of the Americas Mission, 4603 Lawrenceville Highway, Lilburn. A parenting class in Spanish will be offered in two parts on two consecutive Sundays, March 14 and 21, from 1-4 p.m. Communication, discipline and self-esteem are explained as important aspects of active parenting. Cost is free, but a minimum of 10 participants is needed.

In Clayton County, a financial literacy workshop will be offered at St. Philip Benizi Church, 591 Flint River Road, Jonesboro, on Wednesday, March 17, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The class will provide basic financial information to help participants make better decisions about their finances, including savings tools, credit management, banking and personal money management. The seminar will be in English and Spanish. Cost is free, but a minimum of 10 participants is needed.
